I grew up in the West Midlands before moving to the West Country with my parents and finally setting up home in Hertfordshire. I received my bachelor's degree in 2000 and a PGCE in Secondary Education the following year. I have been working as an education consultant since 2014.
20 years teaching experience including time as a Head Teacher. As eSafety Lead for Hertfordshire and since starting my own Consultancy, I have gained a strong reputation my services. I now operate as a DPO in many schools in addition to offering training and consultancy.
After work, when I am not engaged in DIY at home in Welwyn Garden City, I like to travel with my wife and two children. I am an active member of Girlguiding Hertfordshire and support my wife with her key role within the organisation. I am dedicated to making education a safer place for our children.
I offer temporary Acting Deputy or Headship cover on a day-by-day basis. Most recently this has been primary school based.
Schools tend to use this service when key staff have a period of absence or if there are suddenly excessive demands on the senior leadership team.
I offer a complete GDPR service or an annual Data Protection Officer (DPO) service. The latter is very popular as it still includes some eSafety training or sessions as a no-cost option for schools at a very competitive price point.
My parent, teacher or governor bespoke sessions cover topics such as settings, GDPR, online gaming, cyberbullying, sexting, grooming and acting responsibility.
Workshops or assemblies are age-specific and feature up-to-date information and current risk-avoidance strategies.
